Terms of use
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses Doctors Hyderabad (doctorshyderabad.com), which is operated by Dr. Vannala Raju, Hyderabad, Telangana, India (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
1. Not medical advice
Stories, perspectives and clinical posts on this site are the personal views and experiences of their authors. They are shared for reflection and professional learning, not as medical advice for any individual. Do not use them to diagnose or treat yourself or anyone else. Always consult your own doctor. In an emergency, call 108.
2. Who can write
- Accounts are only for medical practitioners registered with the National Medical Commission or a State Medical Council. Writers will usually be practising in or connected with Hyderabad.
- We verify each applicant’s registration. We may refuse an application, ask for more information, or suspend an account at any time, including if a registration lapses or is suspended.
- Keep your password private and your details accurate. Tell us if your registration status changes. One account per person; accounts cannot be shared or transferred.
3. What you may post
Doctors agree that everything they submit:
- protects patients: contains no information that could identify a patient or their family, such as names, initials, photographs, scans, reports, exact dates or places, or rare details. Clinical cases must be fully de-identified.
- does not advertise: in line with the National Medical Commission’s guidelines on ethical advertising and public communication, it contains no fees, phone numbers, clinic timings, appointment links, patient testimonials, before-and-after claims, or claims to be the best or only provider of a treatment;
- is your own work: you have the right to publish it, including any photo, and it does not copy anyone else’s work;
- is honest and lawful: it is not defamatory, harassing, hateful or obscene, and does not encourage unsafe practice or promote prescription medicines to the public;
- discloses conflicts of interest: if you have a financial link to a product, company or institution you write about, you say so in the story.
4. Review and removal
Every application, story, profile change and comment is reviewed before it appears. We may edit for length, clarity, formatting or privacy. We may also return a story to you with a note, decline to publish it, or remove published content at any time. We are not obliged to publish anything.
5. Your content and our licence
You keep the copyright in what you write. By submitting it, you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to:
- publish, display and store it on the site;
- make minor edits;
- share it, with credit to you, in our newsletter and on our social media channels;
- create images and excerpts that promote it.
You can ask us to remove a published story. The licence then ends, except for copies already shared and our routine backups.
6. Using the site as a reader
You are welcome to read, react and share links to stories. Please do not copy whole stories or republish them elsewhere without written permission from us and the author. Do not try to break, overload or scrape the site, or to access accounts that are not yours.
7. Advertising and sponsored content
The site is supported by advertising and sponsorship. Sponsored stories and banners are clearly labelled “Sponsored”. Sponsors do not control what doctors write in their own stories. Ads come from third parties, including Google. We do not endorse the products or services advertised. We do not accept advertising for prescription medicines on public pages.
8. Reporting content and complaints
If something on the site is wrong, harmful, infringes your rights or identifies a patient, please write to our Grievance Officer, Dr. Vannala Raju, at info@doctorshyderabad.com, or use the contact form. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days. Content that identifies a patient is taken offline while we review it.
9. Liability
We provide the site “as is”. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows:
- we are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of content on the site;
- we are not responsible for third-party websites and ads linked from it;
