Community guidelines
Doctors Hyderabad is a place for verified doctors to share stories, perspectives and clinical insights. To keep it safe and useful for everyone, every account and every story is reviewed by the admin before it appears.
Protect patients
- Never include information that could identify a patient: names, initials, photographs, scans, reports, exact dates, rare details or places.
- Change or remove details so that neither the patient nor their family could recognise the case.
- Do not post images of patients, even with faces hidden.
No self-promotion
In line with the National Medical Commission’s guidelines on ethical advertising and public communication, posts and profiles must not include fees, phone numbers, clinic timings, appointment links, patient testimonials, or claims of being the best or only provider of a treatment.
Be respectful
- Disagree with ideas, never attack people. No harassment, hate or discrimination.
- Do not name or criticise identifiable colleagues, hospitals or patients.
Clinical & Medical posts
Share de-identified cases, clinical pearls and practice insights for the learning of colleagues. These are personal views and not medical advice for the public. Mention it clearly if a treatment is not standard practice.
Your words, your responsibility
Post only your own work. Stories are the personal views of their authors. The admin may edit for length and clarity, return a story with a note, or decline to publish it.
